Job Overview
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) or an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our acute care rehabilitation team in Salida, Colorado. Candidates will provide client‑centered care, support functional independence, and collaborate with the therapy team.
Qualifications – Occupational Therapist Assistant
Associate’s degree (A.A. or A.S.) from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Six months to one year of related experience or training.
Active Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure for Colorado, or an active license permit while awaiting examination.
Current CPR certification.
Qualifications – Occupational Therapist
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Current Occupational Therapist license in Colorado, or an active license permit while awaiting examination.
Current CPR certification.
Responsibilities – Occupational Therapist Assistant
Assist with patient examinations, implementing the occupational therapist’s plan of care.
Implement and adjust therapeutic interventions within the established plan to reduce impairments and functional limitations.
Promote injury prevention, health, fitness, and quality of life across all age groups.
Provide care under the direction of the occupational therapist across preventive, acute, and rehabilitative stages.
