Starting Salary:

$94,597 - $137,122 annually (including 45% geo modifier)

Sign-On Bonus:

$12,500

Schedule:

Monday–Friday

The Avionics Technician will support the company’s 14 CFR Part 145 certified repair station and 14 CFR Part 135 air carrier operations by performing maintenance and alterations of aircraft avionics systems in accordance with applicable regulations.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Current FAA Airframe Mechanic certificate (or verified work history that meets minimum requirements to obtain written approval for Airframe testing from the FAA within 6 months of hire)

Current FAA Repairmen certificate (or verified work history that meets minimum requirements to obtain certificate within 6 months of hire)

Three (3) years field maintenance experience maintaining avionics systems in modern complex Fixed Wing and / or Rotorcraft operated under an air carrier (14 CFR Part 135) certificate.

Documented experience performing avionics systems installations in modern complex aircraft.

Ability to efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems.

Ability and willingness to gain a thorough knowledge of the company’s General Maintenance Manual, SOP Manual, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.

Ability and willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and be on-call 24 hours a day during the scheduled duty period assigned.

Possess sound judgment and objectivity in critical decision‑making situations.

Possess honesty, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant aircraft.

Computer skills to include a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

This position requires the Avionics Technician to accomplish all technical and administrative functions independently with no direct supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

Current FAA Airframe Mechanic certificate.

FAA Repairman certificate or have held one in the past 5 years.

Five (5) years Fixed Wing and / or Rotorcraft avionics field maintenance experience with an EMS operator.

Five (5) years of experience maintaining aircraft avionics systems working as a repairman for a 14 CFR 145 Certified Repair Station.

Five (5) years of experience maintaining aircraft systems and / or avionics systems on Beechcraft, Cessna, Pilatus, and Airbus Helicopters.
