Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner to join our team on-site at our Gilbert, AZ location. In this role, you will work closely with patients to assess, diagnose, and manage endocrine disorders. Responsibilities include conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing treatments, and providing patient education. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals will be a key part of your daily tasks, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records and staying current with advancements in endocrinology care.
Qualifications
Advanced clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and care planning
Knowledge of endocrinology-specific treatments, including diabetes and other hormonal disorders
Strong ability to perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood sugar and thyroid function tests
Effective communication skills to educate patients on treatment plans and promote adherence
Experience in collaborating with healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team
Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and documentation
Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Arizona and national certification in endocrinology or related field
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, with a specialization in Family Practice or Endocrinology
Relevant experience in an endocrinology or internal medicine setting is preferred
