Position Summary
Provides direct patient care within the operating room, acting as the patient's advocate, maintaining a safe and sterile environment. Supports the surgical team by monitoring patient safety before, during, and after surgery and documenting. May assist to scrub when needed.

Exposure
Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.
What We're Looking For
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license)
Associate's degree in nursing required, bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
BCLS required
ACLS and PALS (required, must acquire within 90 days of hire)
