
Radiology Technologist - LPG

Summary
The Radiology Technologist (RT) is responsible for providing excellent customer service to both internal and external patients. The RT performs Fixed Diagnostic Radiology imaging procedures in accordance with LMHS, Radiology Services, State and Federal regulations. The RT evaluates image quality, completes radiographic procedure charge forms, maintains monthly statistics, tracks referrals, and manages an x‑ray filing system. The RT provides orientation and training as needed and ensures a safe environment for patients and staff, including using two patient identifiers, radiation safety, infection control, and equipment safety. Additional duties may include patient check‑in, written patient education, phlebotomy, point‑of‑care testing, processing lab specimens, and assistance in minor surgical procedures. The position reports to the manager or supervisor and is non‑exempt.
Requirements
Education —
Graduate of a JFCERT accredited radiography program.
Licensure —
State of Florida radiology technician license.
Certifications —
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required.
Compensation
Minimum to midpoint hourly rate: $25.00 – $32.50.
