Job Description
The ECU Department of Chemistry is currently seeking several Laboratory Assistants to maintain the chemistry stockroom. Lab assistants report to the stockroom manager and are responsible for the receipt, processing, storage, and dispensation of chemicals and supplies, and for accurately maintaining their inventories. Other light‑duty tasks may be assigned as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Successfully completed CHEM 1151.
Able to follow safety rules and protocols and work independently.
Availability of at least 10 hours a week, in blocks of at least 2 hours, around a class schedule.
