Responsibilities

Responsible for upholding security and confidentiality regulations, company policies and procedures, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and good rapport with CIOX staff members.

Assist in selecting, interviewing, hiring and terminating employees.

Perform quality reviews and assist in evaluations of employees.

Responsible for training and orientation of employees in company, facility and region specific functions.

Participate in counseling sessions of processing personnel and make probationary or termination recommendations when necessary.

Report and make recommendations to manager regarding workflow, quality, and production, and methods to increase productivity and performance issues.

Distribute workflow to processing personnel.

Serve as the subject matter expert of the department performing work in accordance with departmental and CIOX Health policies and procedures.

Check each set of records to ensure that proper information has been copied and that protected health information has not been inappropriately released.

Use computer system for data entry, quality assurance and billing process.

Monitor Reject Queue returning orders to appropriate employee for correction and/ or follow up.

Conduct business on the telephone as needed while maintaining excellent customer relations skills.

Perform DVD/CD production for patient, requester and RAC orders.

Answer day‑to‑day questions posed by employees, clients and requesters.

Prepare and distribute month‑end reports on the first work day of each month.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

2 years of Central Processing experience required.

Friendly, professional manner of communication. Good customer service skills.

Must have typing, keyboard, and computer experience.

Medical Terminology class is strongly encouraged.

Experience in the following fields would be beneficial: Data Entry, Medical Records, Health Care, Insurance Claims Processing and Proof Reading/Editing of Documents.

Strong attention to detail is desired. Ability to stay organized while working quickly.

Required to take and pass a 90‑day ROI Certification course with a score of 85% or higher.

Passing annual Introductory HIPAA examination.

Pay ranges for this job title may differ based on location, responsibilities, skills, experience, and other requirements of the role.

The estimated base pay range per hour for this role is:
$21.25–$27.13 USD
