Lake Guntersville, Alabama, is located approximately 30 miles from metro Huntsville and is home to Marshall Medical Centers.
Responsibilities
Perform clinical imaging procedures, including Nuclear Medicine, CT, MRI, General X-ray, and/or Ultrasound, where qualified at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
Receive and process necessary patient information.
Use independent judgment and initiative to perform imaging exams according to policy while assuring patient safety, comfort, and protection.
Assist the radiologist and attending physician.
Communicate effectively and appropriately, work efficiently and productively, and maintain a clean and safe environment by demonstrating proper use and care of equipment.
Reflect a caring attitude for patients, visitors, and employees.
Stay abreast of changes in the profession or discipline through continuing education programs.
Maintain the uniform operation of the department by performing a broad range of duties.
License, Certification, and Registration
ARRT Licensure or NMTCB required.
Must be registered/registry eligible in four additional modalities.
If Ultrasound is one of the two modalities, must be ARDMS registered.
Additional Abilities/Skills
Expected to take call in any area after completion of competency requirements.
CPR certification.
