
Phlebotomist

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a client office at 371 W. Ontario, Chicago, IL.

Pay Range:
$17.75 - $24.50 per hour
Incentive Plan:
Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm

Job Responsibilities
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency, or previous experience as a phlebotomist, is required.
Preferred Requirements
1–2 years of phlebotomy experience with all ages preferred.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation required.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
