Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring a minimum of 18 months of experience and ARRT certification.
Details
Large academic Level 1 trauma center supporting 30+ ORs, 6 ICUs, a 70+ bed ER, and approximately 700 inpatient beds
Procedures and imaging areas include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, ER, OR, and surgery/C-arm
Equipment includes GE and Siemens imaging systems
Charting via Cerner (experience required)
Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Every Saturday is required
Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital is required
Requirements
Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience
Current BLS (AHA or RQI accepted) and ARRT certification
Level 1 trauma and OR/surgical C-arm experience required
Cerner EMR experience required
Indiana or Compact state license required; license required if applicable
Graduate of a program accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation

Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
Former permanent or PRN employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
Call-ins on contracted shifts must be made up within the pay period or will be added to the end of the contract
