Overview
As a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) in our Psychiatric/Behavior Health department, you will provide compassionate care to patients with mental health needs. You will conduct assessments, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, administer medications, and implement individualized care plans to support patient safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with mental health conditions.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses in accordance with nursing practice standards and policies.
Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment for patients, ensuring safety and well-being.
Document clinical information accurately and timely in the patient record.
Qualifications
Current Louisiana RN license.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; empathy and compassion in patient care.
Detail-oriented, able to work effectively in a team, and capable of making quick and accurate decisions in critical situations.
Adaptability and resilience to navigate the dynamic nature of psychiatric nursing.
