Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to support a high-volume acute care facility specializing in vascular, neurovascular, trauma, and body IR procedures. The ideal candidate must be confident in scrub roles, vascular access procedures, and working in advanced imaging environments including GE and Siemens fluoro systems.
Key Responsibilities
Scrub and assist in interventional radiology procedures
Support vascular, neurovascular, and trauma IR cases
Assist with endografts and stroke thrombectomy procedures
Operate and assist in GE and Siemens fluoroscopy rooms
Prepare and maintain sterile field and procedural equipment
Manage daily caseload of approximately 10–15 cases
Collaborate with physicians and IR team for optimal patient care
Ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency
Schedule Details
Regular Shift: 5x8 Days (07:00–15:30)
On-call shifts may extend to 08:00–16:30
Call requirement:
1 weekday call per week
Weekend call every 3rd or 4th weekend (Fri–Sun)
Holiday requirement: As needed
Floating: None
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years IR Tech experience
Ability to scrub IR cases independently
Experience with vascular access and wire handling
Familiarity with GE and Siemens fluoro systems
Active state license required by start date (pending accepted)
Preferred Experience
Neurovascular IR experience
Stroke thrombectomy exposure
Trauma and vascular IR procedures
