Job Description Summary
Responsible for providing technical and clinical support to the Imaging department. Operates X‑ray equipment for diagnostic and/or therapeutic purposes. Monday–Friday 4/10 hour shifts 7 am–5:30 pm with 1–2 possible late shifts a week. Flexible call schedule (roughly 8 per month) varies with rotation.

Job Description
Perform routine diagnostic radiographs and are responsible for performing minor interventional procedures under the supervision of a radiologist and/or licensed fluoroscopic supervisor while Radiologic Technologists III independently perform the most complex technical and/or invasive procedures.

Qualifications

Knowledge of EPIC software

Familiar with PACS archiving

Knowledge of Hybrid Siemens equipment/Advanced Vascular features & troubleshooting (Pheno/Zeego)

Knowledge of Siemens Portable C‑arm functions to include digital subtraction, road mapping, measurements etc.

Familiar with vascular supplies to include balloons, diagnostic catheters, wires, sheaths etc.

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology

Experience: At least two years of modality specific work experience required

Registration/Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Fully competent in advanced modality skill sets and flexible to rotate
