Overview
RN Operating Room Circulator – Marion Surgery Center (PRN)
The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN is responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experience in surgical procedures in the following specialties: orthopedic surgery, foot & ankle surgery, spine surgery, cardiac surgery, pain management procedures (as applicable).
Responsibilities
Position the patient for surgery and ensure patient safety.
Prep the patient and assist the surgical team as required.
Circulate the case during surgery, maintaining a sterile field and communicating with the team.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing
Active RN license in the state
BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
Aminimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
