
PATIENT CARE TECH- MOTHER BABY- PER DIEM NIGHTS

Responsibilities
Patient Care Technician – Mother Baby – Per Diem, Nights. This is a Per Diem Night shift opportunity.
Performs various customer care activities and related services in the patient care area including monitoring and interpreting cardiac telemetry rhythm strips, receptionist and secretarial duties, and patient care tasks. Must be willing to cross‑train and float to meet the needs of the facility.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, and have working knowledge of medical terminology.
Completion of formal training program for Certified Nursing Assistants; possesses state CNA certification.
As of 8/1/2013, a CNA license in the state of Florida is required. Current employees as of 8/1/2013 in the Patient Care Tech role may be transferred into this updated Patient Care Tech job with current education and experience.
Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
Possesses good communication skills in order to relate to customers.
Must be able to perform EKGs.
Computer skills, order entry and ADT function.
