Overview
Right at Home serving Middlesex, N.J.; North Monmouth and Mercer counties is hiring Certified Home Health Aides who are dedicated to improving the lives of those we serve.
MUST HAVE A VALID NEW JERSEY HOME HEALTH AIDE LICENSE!
Requirements
High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate (preferred).
At least 1 year of experience as a caregiver or Certified Home Health Aide in homes or medical facilities.
NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide.
Fully COVID‑vaccinated and booster received.
2-step PPD test result.
Recent physical exam within the last 12 months.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Valid driver’s license and liability insurance on personal vehicle.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care including measuring vital signs and administering medication under nurse direction.
Assist patients with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and feeding.
Plan and accompany patients to physicians’ appointments, meetings, and transport arrangements.
Complete care documentation and report observations to nurses and doctors.
Perform light housekeeping tasks (dusting, mopping, laundry).
Prepare meals, grocery shopping, and other routine household duties.
Teach patients self‑care skills and promote independence.
Compensation & Benefits
Full‑time, part‑time, and per‑diem shifts available.
$17–$20 per hour based on experience and caseload.
Additional pay for weekend shifts.
Full PPE supplied.
Flexible scheduling – shifts start at 4 hours and increase.
Pay increases via Personal Advancement Program.
