Position Overview
The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide patient care, implement treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
Provide hands‑on therapy and exercise programs in patients’ homes or designated facilities.
Monitor and report patient progress, concerns, and changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Georgia.
Previous experience in home health or outpatient settings preferred.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with supervising PT.
