Position Overview
Integrative Living is seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to provide therapeutic, medically based massage services within a collaborative wellness clinic. The therapist will work with clients experiencing stress, chronic tension, recovery needs, and general wellness goals. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, and passionate about helping clients improve their physical well-being.
Compensation
Pay: $40.00 – $60.00 per session, depending on experience and treatment type.
Updated from an hourly structure to clarify session-based compensation.
Primary Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify client concerns, contraindications, and treatment goals.
Provide therapeutic massage services in accordance with professional standards and North Carolina regulations.
Modify treatments appropriately based on medical considerations, medications, or contraindications.
Document all treatments in the PatientNow EMR system using clear and accurate SOAP notes.
Communicate professionally with patients and maintain a supportive client experience.
Collaborate with other wellness providers in the clinic when appropriate to support the patient's wellness goals.
Maintain a clean and sanitary treatment room, including proper linen handling and sanitation procedures.
Contractor Responsibilities
Provide professional massage oils, lotions, and any specialized tools used during treatment sessions.
Must maintain an active North Carolina Massage and Bodywork Therapy License.
Set personal availability for scheduling while maintaining reliability for booked appointments.
Clinic Provides
Fully equipped treatment room including massage table, linens, bolsters, and sanitation supplies.
Patient booking, scheduling, and administrative support.
Electronic Medical Record access through PatientNow.
