Veterinary Technician Assistant – Cardiology
At Metropolitan Veterinary Associates (MVA), our Cardiology service offers a fast‑paced, supportive environment where you’ll assist with diagnostics, patient care, and communication while working alongside board‑certified cardiologists and a highly experienced team.
What You’ll Do
Help with diagnostic procedures such as echocardiograms, ECGs, and thoracic radiographs
Restrain and handle canine and feline patients safely and confidently
Assist with medication administration, patient monitoring, and outpatient treatments
Provide patient care responsibilities including husbandry, laundry, walking dogs, and cleaning kennels
Communicate with clients clearly and compassionately
Maintain cleanliness and organization in exam rooms and shared areas
Help stock supplies and assist with department scheduling and patient flow
Accurately document care and communication in medical records
Anticipated Schedule
This is a full‑time position with the following available schedule:
Mondays and Tuesdays: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM and Wednesdays and Thursdays: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Compensation
Starts at $19.00 per hour

Strong attention to detail and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Proficiency with computer systems and medical recordkeeping
