$31.46 - $48.76 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights
Position: Radiologic Technologist III
Location: Swedish
Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 40 hours
Hours: M-T 7am-3:30pm SAT-SUN 7am-3:30pm
Required Travel: No
What You Will Do
Perform radiographic exams/obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort.
Oversee the ortho workflow and efficiency.
Ensure that patient experience is a priority and that the department is maintaining a level of professionalism.
Handle patient recovery.
Stay on top of exam delays and keep track of trends in productivity.
Be the contact person for the practice manager while maintaining a productive relationship with all employees in the medical group.
Strong problem solving skills.
Knowledge of API/Radiant/Intelerad.
Will perform evaluations.
Make sure that all techs are up to date on licenses, CPR, DevelopU classes, and Flu shots.
Onboard new employees.
Do scheduling for front desk, CT, MRI, and xray.
Place supply orders.
Address equipment and building issues with the appropriate parties.
Assist where there are needs at that sites.
What You Will Need
License: IEMA licensing required
Education: Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program
Certification: CPR certification required. ARRT registered.
Experience: 2-3 years of previous tech experience. Leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
