We are seeking a dedicated Speech‑Language Pathologist to provide therapy services to students in PreK‑12 schools. If you are licensed in California or are eligible to obtain a CA SLP license, we can assist you with the licensing process.
Position Details
Start Date: August 2026 (26/27 school year)
Hours: Full‑time (7.5 hours/day)
Grades: K‑12 (multiple positions)
Credentials: CA SLP License and CA CTC required
Compensation: Starting at $68/hour (commensurate with experience)
Location: Gonzales, CA – Onsite Only
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and student needs.
Provide direct therapy services, addressing articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the educational team to support communication goals in the classroom.
Incorporate evidence‑based techniques and therapeutic activities into sessions.
Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and related information accurately and timely.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.
Current ASHA certification required.
Passionate about working with K‑12 students.
Experience in school or pediatric settings, with proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, parents, and staff.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
Knowledge of AAC systems and assistive technology for speech‑language therapy (preferred).
