Location: The Villages at Middleton, Florida
Overview
The Walt Disney Pavilion at Florida Hospital for Children is looking for a non-operative Pediatric Orthopedic Medicine Physician to join a new multispecialty practice located in the Villages in Middleton, opening in quarter 4 of 2026. This new practice will provide needed access to families in the area who are currently traveling long distances for pediatric care. The physician will provide general orthopedic care which includes fracture care and sports medicine to support the community. Those who need surgical intervention will be referred to and seen by our orthopedic surgeons at AdventHealth for Children in Orlando.
Responsibilities
Provide general orthopedic care including fracture care and sports medicine; consult and refer patients requiring surgical intervention to the orthopedic surgeons at AdventHealth for Children in Orlando; work independently with remote support access; collaborate with the pediatric hospital team to deliver family‑centered care.
Requirements
Board Certification or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
CAQ in sports medicine desirable but not required
Active FL medical license, or ability to obtain
Solid communication skills with strong work ethic
Strong interpersonal skills with team
Ability to treat and manage orthopaedic injuries including fracture care
Active BLS and PALS
Practice Description
This is a full‑time employed opportunity through AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG).
