Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift Opportunity in Vermont

This is a 13‑week contract position.
Schedule
Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, three 12‑hour shifts per week (36 hours total), including every other weekend.
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Med/Surg unit, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, mainly for adults with occasional pediatrics. Your expertise will facilitate comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals to meet the diverse needs of our patients.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and provide holistic care to adult and pediatric patients.
Utilize the Nursing Process to make critical decisions and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Work closely with the Unit Director and Clinical Nurse Lead/Nursing Supervisor for effective team collaboration.
Meet the physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs of patients.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience, preferably with Meditech.
Current Vermont RN or multi‑state RN licensure required.
BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certification are mandatory.
