Role Description
The Retail Store Manager at Shoe Sensation will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Owatonna, MN store in an on-site, full-time capacity. Key responsibilities include managing store performance, leading and training team members, delivering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and executing merchandising strategies. The Retail Store Manager will also be responsible for achieving sales targets, ensuring a clean and organized store environment, and fostering community engagement through local events.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to mentor and motivate staff.
Experience in customer service, sales, and creating positive in-store shopping experiences.
Solid knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising strategies.
Proficient in communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, meet sales targets, and take ownership of the store's success.
Previous experience in retail management is preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and maintaining a secure shopping environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in retail, business, or a related field are a plus.
