Position Details
Position:
Full-Time Registered Veterinary Technician
Salary:
$26.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.

Qualifications and Duties
Registered Veterinary Technician in California, license active and in good standing.
3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting.
Knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
Passion for working with animals and their owners.
Experience with proper animal handling and restraint.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Accurate and thorough medical history documentation.
Perform basic exam procedures.
Skilled in venipuncture and IV catheter placement (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular).
Ability to perform digital radiology (X‑ray) including positioning.
Perform complete dental procedures: digital x‑rays, scaling, polishing, charting, and extractions.
Comfortable with general anesthesia and surgical assisting (induction, intubation, monitoring, aseptic technique).
Laboratory skills including microscope (ear and fecal cytology) and in‑house laboratory equipment.
Ability to utilize ultrasound to obtain diagnostic images and urine samples preferred.
Excellent client communication/education.
Perform technician appointments independently, including accurate medical record documentation.
