As a Security Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of safeguarding sensitive intelligence, personnel, and facilities across the Alaskan theater. This dynamic position blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution, ensuring SCI access control, policy enforcement, and compliance with the highest standards of national security.
You’ll manage TS/SCI visit requests, conduct SCI indoctrinations, and collaborate with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA CAS) to adjudicate eligibility and resolve investigative findings.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and administer SCI Personnel and Physical Security Programs for 11 AF
Conduct SCI indoctrinations and manage access control for SCIFs and SCI-cleared personnel
Monitor DISS and Scattered Castles for clearance verification and derogatory data
Coordinate escorts and execute audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
Develop and maintain SCIF documentation (FFC, TEMPEST, CSP, MSP)
Process TS/SCI visit requests and liaise with DCSA CAS for adjudication and eligibility
Deliver training and guidance to subordinate unit SSOs
Support Program Compliance Review (PCR) inspections and readiness initiatives
Basic Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance required on day one
Minimum 5 years of DoD security experience in military or intelligence environments
Associate’s degree
Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and DoD clearance systems (DISS, Scattered Castles)
Deep knowledge of ICD 704, ICD 705, and DoDM 5105.21 Vols 2 & 3
Experience with DIA SCIF authorization and security protocols
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a security-related discipline
SPeD Security Fundamentals Certification
ICD 705 Site Security Manager (SSM) Certification
Security Asset Protection Professional Certification
PMP Certification
Pay Range
Pay Range $82,550.00 - $149,225.00
