Interim HealthCare is looking for experienced school nurses to join our staffing team. Flexible schedule and able to pick shifts based on availability. Schools include elementary schools. Shifts are Tuesday-Friday for 12 hours.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide health services to students when they are at school camp. For example, you’ll treat injuries and mild to acute sicknesses, or support students with chronic illnesses. You’ll also help with preventive care by educating students on how to avoid communicable diseases and have proper hygiene. Must be comfortable with feeding tubes, trachs, and med administration.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate with children, their parents or guardians, and teachers. If you meet these requirements, and you also have a genuine interest in improving children’s lives, we’d like to hear from you.
A few must-haves for Nurses:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in Missouri
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical facility
CPR certification
Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate
