Position Overview
The Program Instructor provides engaging, supportive, and structured activities for adults with developmental disabilities. This role plays a vital part in helping individuals develop skills that promote independence, confidence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Adult Day Program activities, including:
Vocational training
Independent living skills
Cognitive and social development
Leisure and recreational activities
Mobility, sensory, and perceptual motor skills
Support individuals in developing computer and basic technology skills
Encourage participation while adapting activities to meet individual needs
Maintain a positive, flexible, and person-centered approach
Collaborate with team members to support individualized goals
