Position Title: Front of House Supervisor‑Hourly
The Front of House (FOH) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day front‑of‑house operations across concessions stands and catering events. This role ensures excellent guest service, efficient service flow, compliance with food safety standards, and effective supervision of hourly staff during events and service periods. The FOH Supervisor acts as a hands‑on leader, supporting both guests and staff in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Operations & Service
Supervise front‑of‑house operations for concessions and catering events during assigned shifts
Ensure prompt, friendly, and professional customer service at all service points
Monitor service flow, lines, and staffing levels to maintain efficiency and guest satisfaction
Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and catering teams to ensure accurate and timely food delivery
Handle guest concerns and resolve service issues quickly and professionally
Staff Leadership & Training
Lead, coach, and supervise hourly FOH staff during events and shifts
Assign positions, manage break schedules, and ensure adequate coverage
Provide on‑the‑spot training and performance feedback
Enforce company policies, procedures, attendance standards, and appearance guidelines
Serve as first point of contact for staff questions and concerns
Cash Handling & Compliance
Oversee cash handling, POS procedures, and end‑of‑shift reconciliation
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and health regulations
Maintain clean, organized, and safe service areas at all times
Complete required operational and incident reports
Catering & Event Execution
Set up, monitor, and break down catering service areas according to event specifications
Ensure catering presentations meet quality and brand standards
Communicate event timelines, guest counts, and special requests to staff
Support VIP, premium, or special events as assigned
Inventory & Support
Assist with stocking, restocking, and inventory control as needed
Report shortages, equipment issues, or maintenance concerns to management
Support overall Food & Beverage operations and assist management as required
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, concessions, catering, or hospitality
At least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience preferred
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments
Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Experience in event venues, stadiums, arenas, or large‑scale catering operations
Food Safety Certification (e.g., ServSafe)
Alcohol Service Certification (where applicable)
Bilingual skills a plus
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Willingness to work indoors and outdoors (venue‑dependent)
Ability to work varying schedules based on event needs
