As a Security Officer Hospital Security Patrol in
Aventura, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of healthcare settings. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable approach while helping staff, patients, and visitors throughout the facility.

Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour
Job Schedule: Daytime, Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sunday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
What You\'ll Do
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and support orderly movement throughout the location in alignment with site procedures.
Assist with incident response, de-escalation support, and communication during medical, fire, and/or facility-related events according to post orders and client guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes morgue-related areas.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver\'s license will be required for driving positions only.
