Senior Project Manager – Water/Wastewater Engineer (PE)

What You'll Do
Lead and manage complex water and wastewater infrastructure and process design projects for municipal and private sector clients
Oversee the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Direct hydraulic modeling and system analysis using tools such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, InfoWorks WS, or InfoWater
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, including municipalities and water/sewer authorities
Manage project scope, schedule, and budget across multiple projects to ensure successful delivery
Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance development for engineering staff
Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, consultants, and internal multidisciplinary teams
Utilize project tracking tools to monitor financial performance, schedules, and resource allocation
Support business development efforts and maintain and expand client relationships
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
What You Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
15+ years of experience in the design and management of municipal water and wastewater projects
Strong knowledge of Civil 3D, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, and Microsoft Office applications
Experience with InfoWorks WS and/or InfoWater (Innovyze) preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple large or complex projects simultaneously
Experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams
Strong understanding of project management principles including scope, schedule, and budget control
Proficiency with project tracking tools such as Vision or Microsoft Project
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach
Experience working in the southeastern United States preferred
