Under the direction of the Dietary Manager, the Dietary Cook will prepare and/or pre-proportion food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu. The Dietary Cook will ensure residents receive their specific meals as prescribed by the physician and follows proper food handling and safety techniques according to established policies and procedures and maintains proper infection control procedures.

Requirements:

The Dietary Cook should possess experience in a geriatric or rehabilitative nursing environment.
