Memphis Pharmacy
5025 Tuggle Rd suite 100
Memphis, TN 38118, USA
Location: Remote & On-Site - Memphis, TN
At Neovance, we’re transforming the patient experience by driving better outcomes through compassion, innovation, and operational excellence. With more than 30 years of experience partnering with the biopharmaceutical industry, we deliver agile, technology-enabled patient access solutions that help people start and stay on therapy.
Our expertise spans HUB services, patient assistance programs, field reimbursement, nursing, and non-commercial pharmacy — each designed to remove barriers to care and ensure patients receive the therapies they need when they need them.
Guided by our values of
Agility, Integrity, Tenacity, Unity, and Quality , we work as one Neovance team to optimize access, enhance adherence, and make a meaningful impact, one patient at a time.
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Staff Pharmacist to join our growing specialty pharmacy team in Memphis, TN. You’ll start remotely — supporting prescription data verification, clinical counseling, and technician oversight — then transition to 100% on‑site as our Memphis facility becomes fully operational. Once on‑site, you’ll take on product verification, order fulfillment, cold chain oversight, and direct supervision of pharmacy technicians on the floor.
This is a ground‑floor opportunity to help shape workflows, set standards, and build the team from day one. If you’re a pharmacist who thrives in fast‑moving environments and wants to make a real impact on patient access, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
Prescription Verification & Clinical Care
Review and verify new and refill prescriptions for accuracy, clinical appropriateness, and potential drug interactions before release
Oversee front‑end processing queues including order entry, clarification, and patient onboarding
Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, adherence strategies, and REMS program requirements, documenting all interactions per pharmacy policies and state board regulations
Communicate with prescribers to clarify orders, confirm dosing, discuss therapeutic alternatives, and resolve clinical concerns
Verify product selection, labeling, and packaging accuracy prior to dispensing
Direct day‑to‑day fulfillment workflow, troubleshooting, and prioritization on the pharmacy floor
Ensure cold chain handling meets USP
and GSDP standards; review temperature logs, controlled substance inventories, and storage conditions
Oversee, mentor, and coach pharmacy technicians across order entry, filling, labeling, packing, and shipping
Compliance & Quality
Ensure all activities comply with FDA, DEA, and state Board of Pharmacy regulations
Support audits, root cause investigations, and performance metrics; report medication errors, adverse events, and near misses per the Quality Management Program
Uphold Neovance’s “Zero Misses” dispensing standard and maintain strict patient confidentiality
Participate in weekly on‑call rotation for temperature alerts, after‑hours patient inquiries, and emergency pharmacist coverage
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm) required; Pharm.D. preferred
Active pharmacist license in good standing; Tennessee license required (or ability to obtain prior to start date), with willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
2+ years of experience as a pharmacist in a retail, specialty, or clinical pharmacy setting
Strong clinical judgment with knowledge of FDA regulations, pharmacology, and legal compliance standards
Excellent communication skills — you’re comfortable with extended patient calls and prescriber outreach
Detail‑oriented with a commitment to patient safety and quality
Able to work independently in a remote setting and collaboratively on‑site as part of a growing team
Benefits
Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
Life Insurance
Short‑ and Long‑Term Disability
401(k) with a 5% company match with immediate vesting
Personal Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO)
Company bonus where applicable
