We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Superintendent with a focus on Electrical Construction to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost‑effective manner. The focus is on data centers. As a Superintendent, you will be involved in planning, coordinating, and supervising all onsite functions, including scheduling, material control, and day‑to‑day direction of field personnel.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.
Supervise all onsite construction, including subcontractor coordination, conflict resolution, and compliance with safety regulations.
Develop and implement project schedules, manage daily operations, and plan the use of materials and human resources.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients, to ensure all parties are informed of project status, changes, and issues.
Ensure compliance with building codes, environmental regulations, and other legal requirements.
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
Manage and mitigate project risks, addressing any issues that arise and quickly finding solutions.
Foster a culture of safety and ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed.
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on Electrical Construction.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field is preferred.
Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing electrical construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
Proficient in construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as needed.
