Overview
Welder – 1st Shift
Shift : Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm
Typical fabrication welder responsibilities include welding sheet metal with GMAW/MIG, primarily Galvanneal, with some aluminum and stainless steel. Experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
Fabricate sheet metal using MIG welding; mainly Galvanneal with some aluminum and stainless steel.
Set up equipment to MIG weld mild steel, stainless and aluminum metals.
Interpret and understand weld symbols on prints with good attention to detail.
Able to use measuring equipment: tape measure, micrometer, square, etc.
Read and verify job requirements and print specifications.
Maintain high quality standards to meet customer specifications.
Follow company policy and standards.
Keep work centers clean and orderly.
Able to take and follow directives.
Qualifications
Required Skills And Experience
1+ years Fabrication/Manufacturing experience.
1+ years MIG welding experience.
Desired Qualities And Attributes
Ability to work and function as a team.
Self-motivated and can work without much supervision.
Strong communication skills (written, verbal).
Safety minded and prioritizes safety while performing job duties.
