MKS Instruments is seeking an Machine Maintenance Technician to join the team in Broomfield CO. As an Machine Maintenance Technician at MKS Instruments, you will partner with operations, facilities, EHS, and engineering personnel to perform maintenance on production equipment. In this role, you will report to the Director of Manufacturing/Operations.

Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program Execution & Documentation
Safety, Continuous Improvement & Cross‑Functional Support
Qualifications
Skills You Bring:
Technical Certificate or Associate Degree in one of the following:
Industrial Maintenance
Electro‑Mechanical Technology
Manufacturing Technology
Industrial Electrical or Mechanical Systems
4-6+ years of job‑related experience maintaining CNC and Manufacturing Equipment
Required Experience or Technical Skills:
CNC Mechanical & Electrical Troubleshooting
Welding Equipment Technical Competence & Safety Awareness
Preventive Maintenance Execution & Documentation Discipline
Ultrasonic Cleaning & Process Equipment Support Skills
Equipment Safety, Lockout/Tag out & Controlled Access Skills
Continuous Improvement & Cross‑Functional Communication
Preferred Skills:
Ability to execute scheduled PM activities accurately and consistently, following documented procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
Strong documentation habits to record work performed, equipment condition, and corrective actions within formal PM systems that support audits and reliability improvement efforts.
Strong ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on CNC machining centers, lathes, bar feeders, coolant systems, and chip handling equipment. This includes recognizing failure modes, restoring equipment functionality, and supporting uptime targets tied to preventive maintenance programs.

Compensation and Benefits
Hourly Pay Range: $27 - 40 hourly. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
