Job Summary
Community Clinic is seeking an experienced Nurse or Medical Assistant to hire as the Clinical Team Lead for the clinical team at our Primary & Specialty Clinic in Fayetteville, AR. The Clinical Team Lead is the Practice Manager’s right hand and will lead the day-to-day activities of the patient care support team consisting of Nurses and Medical Assistants. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, outpatient clinical experience, and a passion for providing access to health care to everyone in our community! This position is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Bilingual speaking ability of Spanish & English is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Assists the Practice Manager to ensure efficient patient flow and high quality staff performance.

Assumes responsibility of the clinic in the Practice Manager’s absence, in conjunction with the DON.

Leads the team on a daily basis, by providing a model of positive, compassionate care for our patients and support to our staff.

Demonstrates exceptional customer service while interacting with providers, patients and coworkers.

Ensures adequate staff coverage for absences and helps develop work assignments. Include proactive development of staffing plan as well as the ability to flex coverage daily depended on practice need.

Provides direct clinical support to the providers as needed.

Trains, mentors and completes staff competency evaluations for both new and existing clinical staff.

Assists in the supervision of clinical staff and gives input for performance reviews and corrective action plans as needed.

Assists in coordination of inventory and ordering medical supplies, as required.

Adheres to applicable regulatory guidelines and laws, including but not limited to HIPAA/HITECH, CLIA, HRSA, NCQA PCMH and OSHA.

Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds.

Intermediate or better using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.

Able to perform proficiently on current practice management system and/or electronic medical records.

Commitment to professional development activities, such as trainings and CEUs.

Strong organizational skills and attention to details.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Commitment to the practice’s high quality, compassionate care of patients.

Required Qualifications

HS Diploma or equivalent required

Current active Nursing license or Medical Assistant certification required.

5+ experience in patient care in an outpatient setting required

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Multilingual ability (especially Spanish or Marshallese) preferred
