Responsibilities
Utilize Your Full Skillset: Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
Be a Leader and Mentor: Guide and support the medical team, ensure an efficient workflow, and help others grow their skills and careers.
Partner with Clients: Be a key point of contact for pet owners, educate them on treatments, review medical records, and answer questions.
Contribute to a Positive Culture: Train, provide feedback, and maintain high standards within the hospital environment.
Qualifications
Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
Calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
Strong communication skills and a passion for collaborative work.
One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
