Machine Shop/Assembly Counter - 1st Shift
Location
Lafayette, Indiana
Responsibilities
Counting production parts to maintain inventory accuracy.
Helping reconcilers determine root cause for discrepancies.
Managing workload to meet corporate timelines.
Utilizing computer system to input count results and adjustments.
Qualifications
Must possess good organizational skills and ability to analyze complex flow paths.
Must have good written and oral communication skills.
Self‑motivated, safety‑conscious individual capable of working independently.
Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Flexible to work overtime as needed to support production demands.
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑based focus.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to bend and twist at the waist and be able to squat.
Consistent use of required PPE for task being performed.
Must be able to walk for extended periods of time.
Additional Information
Position is on 1st shift (6:30 am – 2:30 pm).
Relocation assistance is not offered for this position; any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected applicant.
Climate‑controlled work environment – most areas.
Clean/safe work environment.
Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a drug screen.
Pay Range
$23.33 – $30.33 per hour.
