Nurse Practitioner PRN Needed! (Contract Employee)
Springwoods Behavioral Health, an 80-bed behavioral health facility located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, provides acute inpatient treatment for adolescents, adults, and specialty programs for women. The hospital also offers outpatient treatment. Our six-acre campus is adjacent to a 123-acre Audubon Wildlife and Bird Sanctuary, providing a peaceful setting for those on the road to recovery.
Responsibilities
As a PRN Psych Certified Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with the Medical Director, Clinical Staff, and Nursing Staff to provide comprehensive mental health assessments, determine diagnosis plans, prescribe treatments, and manage mental health care regimens in collaboration with a designated physician. You will be responsible for delivering patient-centered psychiatric services during weekday and/or weekend shifts.

Requirements / Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Master’s level Nurse Practitioner program with a specialty in Psychiatry.
Arkansas NP License.
Board Certification for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner required.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and comfort seeing child‑adult populations.
Education And Experience
Minimum of two (2) years experience as an NP in a hospital treating mental illness and addictive disorders patients (preferred).
Unencumbered State of AR Licensed NP with expertise or interest in treating patients with mental illness and addictive disorders (preferred).
Appropriate educational credentials as a Nurse Practitioner.
