Description
Key Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding on materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions
Set up welding equipment, including selecting proper tungsten, filler materials, and machine settings
Ensure welds meet quality standards, including appearance and structural integrity
Inspect completed welds using measuring tools and visual inspection techniques
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
Work closely with fabrication and quality teams to meet production goals
Perform minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of TIG welding experience (or equivalent training/certification)
Ability to pass a TIG weld test (if applicable)
Strong understanding of welding techniques and metallurgy
Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, etc.)
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods
Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
