Position Title
Licensed Vocational Nurse, CDCR located at California Health Care Facility (CHCF) in Stockton, CA (San Joaquin County).
Job Overview
The CDCR seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide general nursing care, ensuring appropriate and timely health care to patients in a correctional setting, supporting a collaborative care team, and promoting efficient use of health care resources.
Responsibilities
Provide basic and technical nursing care to patients in a correctional health care setting.
Ensure delivery of appropriate and timely health care to patients under RN delegation and provider orders.
Support the care team for daily health care operations.
Communicate effectively with patients and other members of the health care team.
Address ongoing patient needs in collaboration with physicians and other health care providers.
Promote efficient, cost‑effective use of health care resources.
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a valid, active license from the State of California to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
Must pass the Licensed Vocational Nurse exam before applying (list eligibility requirements).
