Canyon State Academy is located on a scenic 180-acre campus surrounded by a farm, student housing for 300+ youth, a thrift store, cafe, barbershop and church open to the community incorporating life skills for our students. Along with a fully equipped weight room, football stadium, and athletic center (gymnasium, padded wrestling room & more), Canyon State has it all!
Pay: $19.00 an hour

What You Will Do
The Medical Assistant works as a staff member of the Student Services team. Primarily responsible for serving as an assistant to the entire Student Health Services Department. Coordinates the flow of students to be seen by the health care professionals within programs and the scheduling of students to be seen by outside health care professionals. Depending on location, the Medical Assistant reports to the Medical Manager and/or Medical Coordinator.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of youth progress, behaviors, and incidents, ensuring compliance with program policies.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification for Medical Assistant or Nurses Assistant required
Successfully completed QMAP training
Be at least 21 years of age
Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
Pass a search of the child abuse central registry
Schedule
PRN - This is for a Part Time Medical Assistant (Part time as needed). Shifts will be as needed.
Schedule subject to change based on the need of the program*
