Job Summary
Baptist Health is looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Imaging Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity. Participation in call and holiday rotations is required. As a Radiology Technologist, your day will consist of prepping rooms and positioning patients to capture clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care.
Eligible for up to $500 Sign-On Bonus if hired!
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality radiographic procedures.
Promote goodwill among co-workers and other departments, maintaining a positive and comforting demeanor with all patients.
Report to the Lead Technologist on shift.
Be compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
Be comfortable with pediatrics.
Identify, prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or lawful institutional policy.
Qualifications & Requirements
Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - DOH
Registered Technologist in Radiography - ARRT
Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
Driver's License - DMV
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - CCI - Cardiovascular
Education
Vocational School (required). Preferred: Additional training or certification.
