Qualifications
Active RN license
Degree from an accredited nursing program
BLS & ACLS certifications
At least 18 months recent experience in an acute care PCU/step‑down setting
Other requirements determined by the client facility
Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor and assess patients who require close monitoring but are not unstable enough to need ICU care.
Utilize computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information and detect changes to enable timely intervention.
Administer complex medications that may require titration based on patient vital signs.
