
Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse

Eastern Shawnee Staffing Services, in partnership with Indian Health Services (IHS), is seeking experienced Ambulatory Care Registered Nurses (RNs) for a long-term contract at Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock. We are currently hiring Contract RNs for the Ambulatory Care Department, with start dates in June or July. Start Date: June / July
Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift
Hours: 40 hours per week (typically 8-hour shifts)
Contract Length: Up to 1 year with additional extension options

What You’ll Do
Provide direct patient care in an outpatient/ambulatory care setting
Perform patient assessments, triage, and care coordination
Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments
Assist providers with exams and minor procedures
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care
Document accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care

Requirements
Active, unrestricted RN license (any U.S. state accepted)
Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience (ambulatory or outpatient experience preferred)
Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Previous IHS experience a plus
Experience with EHR systems required
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must be able to pass a federal security clearance
Required immunizations must be up to date
