Position
CNA / Nursing Assistant - Preop/PACU (Nights). Location: Omaha, NE. The CNA / Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care and support in the Preop and PACU setting, including vital sign monitoring, patient preparation and recovery assistance, transport, and maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient care environment under the direction of a registered nurse.

Shift Details
Full Time | 0.9 FTE | 36 scheduled weekly hours

Night Shift | 9 PM – 9 AM

Job Duties: CNA
Perform delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel for the achievement of patient’s plan of care.

Required Qualifications: CNA

Minimum of 16 years of age.

Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska required.

Demonstrated effective communication skills required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, from an American Heart Association endorsed program.

Based on department need, Medication Aide certification and completion of an Injectables course may be required after hire in outpatient settings.

Preferred Qualifications: CNA

Knowledge of computer data entry and word processing preferred.

Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Job Duties: Nursing Assistant

High school education or equivalent required.

Six months experience in patient care required or must be enrolled in nursing program.

Demonstrated effective communication skills required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required, must be from an American Heart Association endorsed program.

Preferred Qualifications: Nursing Assistant

Direct patient care experience preferred.

Knowledge of computer data entry and word processing preferred.

Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
