Job Description And Duties
The incumbent works under supervision of the Senior Health Physicist of the Inspection, Compliance, and Enforcement Section, Radiation Machines, X‑Ray Machine Inspection Unit, Region 1 Sacramento. The incumbent specializes in regulatory health physics (radiation safety) of average complexity, emphasizing fieldwork operations from a state regional compliance office. The incumbent is provided with radiation detection and other equipment necessary to support designated duties and is expected to use, transport, and care for said equipment.
