Job Description
Phlebotomist II Float – Dover, NH – Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with rotational weekends. In a Phlebotomy float role, you will be given diverse, dynamic work with a variety of patient centres. No two days will look the same, and as a floater you may shift frequently between new patient centres and meet new people.

Pay range:

Minimum of $21.84+ per hour. Salary offers consider skills, training, experience, education, and certifications, plus market and organizational factors. Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities

Assigned a territory to cover phlebotomy duties within a Patient Service Center, doctor’s office, or as business needs dictate.

Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.

Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screenings, and insurance exams.

Enter billing information and collect payment when required.

Coach, mentor, instruct, and serve as a resource advisor for new employees; act as point of contact for staff on site and provide input to the group lead or supervisor.

Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites when needed.

Qualifications
Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Work Experience

Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.

Keyboard/data entry experience.

The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English.
