About the Role
Clarvida is seeking a Substance Abuse Therapist to support children, youth, adults, and families navigating substance use challenges. In this role, you will provide client-centered, recovery-oriented services that address the underlying factors contributing to substance use while helping clients build sustainable paths toward wellness.
Services are delivered in a variety of settings, including client homes, office locations, and community-based environments. You will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, provide individual and group counseling, and collaborate with families, courts, and community partners to support positive outcomes.
This role may include attending court hearings, assisting with client transportation as needed, and working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
Responsibilities
Conduct substance use assessments and ongoing evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide individual and group counseling services
Support children, youth, adults, and families impacted by substance use
Identify and connect clients with appropriate community resources
Advocate for clients in court and other systems as required
Provide client transportation as needed
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support treatment goals
Requirements
One of the following active Indiana licenses:
Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC)
Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC)
LSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC with substance use treatment experience
Experience working with substance use populations preferred
Valid State Driver’s License in good standing with current state-minimum auto insurance
